    My guess on the eye is abrasion doubling . I love to ring them full of chips like this !!!

    Were the eye doubled I would think the recess below the lid would be reflected in the doubling . Clash wise I don't think that shape is near the eye . Here is a 71-d of mine that showes clash marks at the eye . Sorry about the poor pic , it was taken ages ago.
