Wow, my credit union actually had customer-rolled halves!

    No, wait... I just found one coin that had slid up underneath my keyboard. So I broke even on the count.

    There are some varieties to look for.
    A DDO on the 1976, and some other stuff, the 1972 I think.
    The fact that the newer coins you got were after they stopped being
    NIFC, and all the coins are clad is an indication of a CRH dump.
    Because if some old lady had brought them in, and they were laying around in her cookie jar for 50 years, they wouldn't be rolled by year,
    and there would be some goodies in there.

    Yep, that matches the last few batches of halves I got from banks, which is why they were the last batches.

    I know there are still jackpots to be hit, but I decided it wasn't worth the time. I may reconsider at some point, especially with silver at these levels.
