@galba68, I have no idea what it is, but I found another one online and they seem to think it is some part of a horse's leather gear, bridle, etc. I guess that could be, but I've never seen something like this used on a bridle or headstall, etc. That doesn't mean anything, I, by no means know everything, not even close. But, I had horses for years and can't visualize something this would be used for? I guess some type of adornment?
