How do you get up so close to your coins?

I would buy a 5mp and mine is a 2MP .
there everywhere for sale on the world web ..

 

This is what I use it is just an attachment for a smart phone it works really well and if you are very obsessed at times a lot of the time like I am lol you can always have it with you

Rick , if you do decide on a scope like the Am scope, I would not expect much from the 1000X objective. Any magnification above about 700X should be using immersion oil objectives and I can not tell from the description if that one does or not. Also the light is transmission that passes through the objects to produce the image, so you will need a light source ( ring or free-standing) that lights from the sides or above, such as the scope below. You can shoot photos down one eyepiece or look at their trioptic dissecting scopes with a separate photo tube. Jim
