Please help me with a pet project. I call it The Trade-Up Game.

I started out with a cheap coin on November 19, 2025, traded it for another cheap coin, and intend to keep trading slightly upward each time, to see where I can end up after a year. On November 19, 2026, I will close the project and we'll see where I ended up.

What will you swap me for this lot? Will you trade me something slightly more valuable for it, to help me move the project along? I hear you wondering: "why in the world would I do that?" I mean, what's in it for you, right?

Well, aside from the trade itself, you'll be able to watch the progress of the project, and you will get a chance, at the end of the year, to get half of my proceeds from the entire year's trading. After November 19, 2026, I'll sell the final coin I end up with, and do a random drawing amongst all the folks who traded with me. The winner of that drawing will get a 50% share of the value of the project's final take.

So it's sort of like buying a raffle ticket, though unlike a raffle, you will actually get something, regardless of whether or not you win the year-end drawing.

Anyway, it's more about the fun of the journey than making any money.

    Here's what's currently on offer...

Trade #3: 1943 Walking Liberty half (scratched) plus 1957-D Franklin half
    Received from: @Yankee42
Estimated value: $45.48 (combined silver melt price as of 12/16/25)

The Walking Liberty half is pretty scratched up, but there's 0.72338 ounces of combined silver bullion content in this lot.

So... does anybody have something worth slightly more than $45.48 to offer me for this lot?

Your trade offer could be any US or World coin.
