Ive been bored lately and been buying some small purchases on ebay. Ive been interested in the sitting liberties lately. They really are beautiful coins.

First: They are Seated Liberty dimes.
    They seem to be G-4+
The Merc is harder, but I'd guess Fine.

    Woodenspoon boy (interesting name BTW),
I agree the seated Liberty half dimes are G-4, which puts a value of about $16.00 each, according to the 2007 Redbook.
Mintage for the 1857 is 7,280,000.
Mintage for the 1858 is 3,500,000.
The Merc is F-12, with a mintage of 1,843,000, and the book says $5.00

    Hope this helps,

Yea yea same thing. no actually there seated liberty HALF dimes. :goofer:

I did pretty good with the half dimes, i dont think I payed more than 8 dollars for each of them. I figured the Mercury dime would be worth a bit more.
