For the past 20 years the Kennedy Half Dollar design has been attractive to me. The Obverse design looks like a proper US coin Obverse, by that I mean, it looks like what a US coin "should" look like, in my estimation. Same is true for the reverse.

I completed a Kennedy date set in Proof Ultra Cameo (for the most part), many years ago, and ever since I sold it, I still appreciate the Kennedy series. I occasionally buy a coin that strikes my fancy.

Here are the 2025 purchases for my Misc. Kennedy Half Dollar Coins Collection:

Mostly these are coins from the 50th Anniversary sets. I wanted one of each type, and I duplicated the "Enhanced" type for a proof-like and normal example.

Lovely! I am a sucker for an "odd" finish, reverse proofs, enhanced, matte, etc.

Nice. Thanks for posting these. I have a complete set with the exception of the Gold one. However my set only goes to 2021. I quit back then after almost 80 years.

Very nice! And I agree that there is something about these that make them a "proper" US coin.
