Well, if everything here wasn't "constructive information", I don't know what else it could be. I suppose if he thinks warnings about fraudulant auctions isn't constructive enough, he deserves to be ripped-off by them.

I think alerting people to scams is very constructive.

 

I believe about 99% of the things we talk about here on the forum is constructive. If you were bidding on a fake coin and didnt know any better wouldnt you want someone to tell you? If you were the one that was ripped off $500.00 on a fake "godless" Adams dollar or whatever wouldnt you be criticizing the seller also? Sure you would. Part of the reason that we are all here is for our own education, there is always something to learn. If teaching others and passing along our knowledge isnt constructive then I dont know what is.

 

Ah, but t wasn't on John Adams errors which was what he wanted "constructive information" on. (Constructive information? As in how to construct or make them? )

Would he have complained if the auction in question had been about a fake Adams dollar error? Or would he have considered that to be constructive since it would have been about a subject he was interested in?

Good luck to him finding a forum that does nothing but post scholarly articles on serious numismatic subjects (Just John Adams dollars?) with no off topic posts or comments.
