I saw this listing on eBay. This seller wants $1200.00 for damaged Cents

I already sent him a private message informing him that they are not mint errors but damage to the surface created by a coin roll crimping machine. Let's see how he responds.

I don't think I have ever seen a seller with that much junk. He can't be that stupid.

 

He's got quite the collection of stuff listed, and sold. None of the sillier coin listings have ever actually sold, as far as I can see.

As long as it's free or nearly free to list stuff, there'll be no end to these sorts of listings. I really, really miss the old days, when there was a sensible listing fee based on starting price and/or reserve, and final value fees were a quarter to a tenth of what they are now. (I sold four-figure stuff with an effective FVF well below 2%, as I recall.)

 

If he sells them and wants more let me know. I have lots more of these. Lol

 

They know it's garbage. I can't believe anyone would even actually buy that crud. Ebay is a legalized con game. It is a disgrace.
