I Was going through my collection and remembered this coin because I believe it may be a "Clashed Die Error" and some other thing going on with the Reverse?? The other questions that I have pertain to the grade and value. I bought this coin Pre-CoinTalk and wasn't sure at the time of the purchase that it had a possible error. So, what do you think? I paid $30 if that helps.
Most of the early three cent nickels had die clash issues. Some are more dramatic than others. Usually, the clash does not increase the value of the coin. But, having the three Roman numerals full(complete vertical lines) does help the value. Like, most fully struck coins.
