Count me in please, those two look great. Thanks LM and Eric. I've been busy making mince pies if anyone wants one.
First thing I thought of was how great those coins are and what cheer and happiness coins can give a coin collector. I hope these coins have a chance to put a smile on @MeowtheKitty face. Here is a coin that gives me great cheer and brightens my day. James
Thank you, Paul. Very kind of you. I guess I can submit this post as an entry for me/my grandsons also. Thanks @Eric the Red for the beautiful offerings. And thanks to you @lordmarcovan for all you do, all the time, for this community. Happy Holidays, everyone!
Nice pair of coins that have good luster. I'll go in; I have one merc that is as nice, but a bit younger.
One more vote for @mrbadexample for this round. I only just recently tried mince pies and they were great! My wife made them and some brandy butter to add on top, and wow! Good luck!
I'll hop in! Mercury dimes were some of the first coins I bought as a kid, so they hold a special place for me. I also think the walking liberty half is one of the best U.S. coin designs!
Agreed on both counts. Finding a 1936 Mercury dime in my grandmother’s silverware drawer when I set the table for Thanksgiving dinner in 1976 is what started me collecting.
Please count me in on this drawing! below are two special 1943 coins for me: the Mercury dime was a gift to me from a kind neighbor back when i was just starting out. I've had it since 1980 or so. The Walking Liberty was the first one i found in circulation. It popped out of a slot machine in Atlantic city back in 1992. and not 10 minutes later, my friend also got a 1943 out of his machine!
