Just like having to chose what state quoter or which presidential dollar to choose for our sets, which 2026 Semiquincentennial quarter do you think you'll choose?
Great post - after only a short time my first "favorite" is the Washington/Revolutionary War design. But if I was doing a type set, I might go with the Jefferson/Declaration of Independence one, for what it represents.
Tough choice. I like the Revolutionary War and the Declaration of Independence designs. Since the Minuteman design was previous used on the quarter I'd go with the bell design. While the remainder are equally worthy on their own, they don't quite fit the time frame of 1776.
Now that'll be a silver proof set on my must have list. The Lincoln bust and Mayflower ship are re-used designs from commemoratives but the rest look fresh. They all look great. Will probably use the revolutionary war quarter for mine type set. Maybe the Constitution as well. The US type including moderns on the NGC registry calls for a proof and a clad so you can pick two.
Those are decent designs for a change. If it were my type set, I would use the Deceleration of Independence quarter.
