Here we go again, new vault box offering in my e-mail today. Fancy-schmancy PCGS box, but at a low, low price of....................$829 ! Going to pass, a bit too pricey and too close to Christmas and didn't have much luck with the last one.

I guess I can see the allure, but if I'm going to drop that kind of money it will be for the EXACT coin I want!

No way I’d spent that amount on a chance for a coin I can’t see.

I’m with you. I’ll easily spend that amount and a lot more but I’ll have the coin in my hand to look at first and it will be a coin that I need or really want.

Holy Shamolee.... I wouldn't spend that much not knowing what I am getting either.

A lot of trash as expected in the "black cores"... but also quite a few 1/10oz gold coins, which if I'm not mistaken are going for a good bit more than the $276/coin price of admission.

It's all a bit confusing, which is always a big red flag for me. Because you can be sure they know exactly what they're offering, and how much they're going to come out ahead once everything's sold.

829 for 3 slabs in one box.. that's not really a bad price.. I'm in for at least 1 box provided I catch it in time :D

It's still an illegal lottery and I have zero interest. I paid attention in math and statistics courses.

I don't claim to be holier than anyone else but I am firmly in the "I" get to pick the coin when we are talking that much money. I do see the allure of the "potential" win and I still think most people are more interested in the "rush" they get from taking the chance. Having said that, I am Dutch so don't expect much gambling. I am allready self-employed, married with kids and playing quite the lottery healthwise so i don't need anymore risk to make life more interesting. james
