Arirang Numismatics has published his detailed analysis of the Cupronickel Quarter-Yang coin of 1898. I know some here have collected these. Enjoy!
I have one of these Korea 1/4 Yang coins which I found in a 1960's coin dealer's foreign coin box. Korea 1/4 Yang 1898 (Year 2) Copper-nickel, 20.7 mm, 4.80 gm I believe that I have Arirang group E obverse 15 reverse 17.
WOW. Thank you for the link! I have a stash of them hidden away (maybe 30?). I have an error off centre 1898 1/4 yang. Losing omnicoin does hurt... If I can find them...
Most of the stuff that I stashed away a while back. Think that would cover a good chunk of the varieties! There's some rotation error too.
If you have decent images of each of these coins, I'm sure the author (Calvin Jin) would be interested in them, considering the numerous varieties you have. He has an instagram page where he can be contacted.
