What grade would you say she is and what would be a fair price to pay? A144ECC0-75A7-40DB-91E3-70F2672269B2.jpeg EDA58942-4E72-4245-9E0B-753384B15F5C.jpeg

Outstanding expandable photogs! I'm going to hazard AU-58 as I see some slight rubbing on the distaff on the reverse...

I'd say AU55 based on the rub in the fields, but on the upper rev it looks like some spots that have eaten into the surface; corrosion?

    Excellent photos!

I'll go with 58. Nice coin.

First off, nice Quarter. Second, I'll say low MS. Thanks for sharing.

I was thinking the spots looked like toning but don't have the coin in hand.

Without looking closer I'd say a 55. A little rub here an there.

AU-55 in my book. Very nice looking but I’d be concerned about those spots on the weed reverse. They look a little deeper than the surface of the coin. Toning would only be on the surface.

A solid AU53-55. At auction I'd feel safe at EF45 price if possible since it is raw. One of the better yet graded that I've seen.

I'll concur with 55-58. 58 was my initial impression. Likely had an old cleaning.

The sharpness is AU-58 with enough little marks to make it AU-55. Cleaning might be an issue. It’s to tell from the photo.

This is a neat item because it was the only quarter in the “old” commemorative series. It was sold by the Board of Lady Managers. The government gave a $10,000 stipend to the Boards of Lady and Men Managers. The ladies chose to take their money in the form of 40,000 commemorative quarters. The plan was to sell them for $1 each. Unfortunately the ladies’ marketing was not great, and they only sold about 10,000 pieces. Mrs. Porter Potter, who was the chair lady of the group, saved an additional 10,000 pieces from the melting pot.
