Double die or double stamped

    None. That's a form of Worthless Doubling called Die Deterioration doubling or even mechanical strike doubling. It's clearly flat and Shelflike.

    It's a common issue on many copper plated zinc planchet Cents.

    At least it has some neat linear plating blisters on the obverse.

    Also. The correct Numismatic terminology is Doubled die, not double die. There's a big difference.

    And true Doubled Die has absolutely nothing to do with a coin being double stamped. It's one strike with a Doubled die.

    Looks like a worn die issue to me. That would be worthless doubling.

    Yes on the plating blisters common with the copper coated zinc disgrace coins.
