Yes, the final lot includes the cancelled die(s). Yes fingerprinters were clearly placed by the Treasurer and the pressman - it's in the video https://abcnews.go.com/GMA/Living/penny-short-us-mints-final-1-cent-coins/story?id=127465330
Have any of the 230 1794 dollar “commemoratives” from a year ago resold? They mostly went for around $35k. This is the same shtick.
Yeah, if I'm gonna spend that much for something "Omega" , I'd get a Seamaster 300 , probably for a lot less than the Omega coins.
Mint has become a disgusting entity which is overusing its monopoly power. This latest stunt shows a total level of disrespect for the small collectors who got started with Lincoln Cents and have stuck with them for well over a century. If a private company played these games, the Justice Department would be after them under the Sherman Antitrust Act. I could probably afford to play, but I won't. I'd rather have a nice Chain Cent. Some day, I'd like to get an AMERI. Chain Cent.
The ONLY Omega I've ever given a hoot about. The Doomsday Missile from beneath the Planet of the Apes.
I remember wondering if we were going to hit a Tropical Storm Omega during the 2020 hurricane season. The season was absolutely nutso, but since it was 2020, people had other things to think about. It reminded me very much of the 2005 season, which traumatized everybody at the National Hurricane Center.
