For those of you old enough to remember the first few seasons of Saturday Night Live, Dan Aykroyd did a wonderful bit that began "I'm Leonard Pinth-Garnell. Welcome to 'Bad Playhouse'". Eventually, they had Bad Playhouse
Bad Cinema, Bad Ballet, Bad Opera, Bad Musical, Bad One-Man Theater, Bad Conceptual Art, Bad Red Chinese Ballet, Bad Cabaret For Children, and Bad Conceptual Theater.

Here I submit to you another in the series, "Bad Numismatics", a showcase of the worst in numismatics. Items that can only beg the question "What the hell were they thinking?". Here's my first submission. 4 mint-state 1972 Lincoln cents, permanently embedded in yellow, bubbling acrylic.

    Give us your worst!

    Incredibly BAD!

So bad in fact that as I began to tell my wife about this I was suddenly overcome with a bad case of Lock Larynx.
    Hopefully I shall recover soon.

On the bright side none of them are the DDO.

considering that most people don't even want them as change, I think that it is a good use of 4 cents.

But, that is just my 2 cents.
Now there is a bad use of 6 cents, total.

If none of you submit your own examples, I'll be forced to bring out the next one of mine!
