Mercury Dime date doubling

    So, from what I’ve read, this date doubling is a strike issue. Is that correct?

    The 2, 4 an rim say more die deterioration to me.

    While it looks like something, there is no listing for it in Wexler's.
    A discovery coin after 100 years is unlikely.
    Try to make clearer photos before posting.

    Better pics would help. To answer your question, it's an anomaly not an error.
