Fake 1893-S for your enjoyment and ridicule

I would, but my limited exposure to Great Collections, my first impression is that they are WAY more expensive than the flea, and I'm talking about graded and slabbed coins. I could be wrong, but that's my impression.

 

I have several online dealers that I feel give me really good buys. Both have taken care of me for years. I don’t do Grest Collections.

 

No wonder fleabay is allowed to sell chinese crap. Add another reason I don't patronize them.

I really don't need to buy a lot of Morgans anymore online. Most of the holes I wanted to fill are filled except the obvious wallet buster key dates. There are a few more I'll eventually get but it will be a slow and tedious process to find deals if possible, if ever. I'd rather cherry pick really high grade coins in dates I already have with rare VAM varieties. I saw an 1895O tonight that I know is legit due to the numerous clashes present, Chiner ain't going to be able to replicate those. But the coin was garbage condition and already bid up to $800, homey don't play that game. I'd rather collect really nice specimens than worry about a complete set of Morgans. All week long and twice on Sundays. I know that is odd and different but how I roll.

Oh, and the real reason I even posted again was I have two favorite sellers I really trust. I'll keep that to myself, too many other people have begun to notice lately and trusted sellers are hard to come by. One seller has an amazing inventory of really tough Morgans and none of them are junk. It really cuts down on scrolling through the normal garbage bin.

 

I only need two of them.

 

If you have the time to spare, Hope you have a fishing pole, and a set of golf clubs. The Key dates I am sure are still out there to be picked. I'd say that I don't have the patience to wait for a coin to arrive and possibly have to send it back on my own dime. I like having the responsibility of knowing that I paid in exchange for that and put my own eyes on the piece, then took it home, even if later I learned that I made a less than optimistic purchase. I still bought it.

I not only have an arsenal of fishing poles, but two boats as well. (not metaphorically, but real life). But you already knew that.

 

I could have done the same a long time ago, but would not be pleased at looking what I got. I just don't like ugly coins.

 

I forgot, regarding the fishing antedote. The thrill isn't in actual owning a fish, it's the hunt, hooking up, and weighing the result that gets the blood circulating. Having the trophy later is a little anticlimatic. Hunting coins and women are so similar it's actually scary.

 

This last summer, the river produced some amazing catches. Some of the most colorful trout I have ever caught. I was a pleasure to release them back to the river. There were a few this year above 27" not only by me. My son caught probably the biggest this year.

 

Pan fried mountain trout are delicious, I would have kept a couple.

 

Catch and release is the only reason I haven't ever been ticketed for fishing without a license. I started fishing without one and I plan on dying without buying one.
