I’ve participated at least 5 times in the past, but I’ll be moving in December so I think I won’t be able to join anyway this year. Shipping low cost items internationally is not a problem as there are usually no customs fees or delays.

Hopefully we see you back next year after the move! I will say, the international swap was usually unsuccessful due to lack of participation, not for trying!

Now that thanksgiving is almost over.... it's time to set our gaze forward to Secret Santa!!!!! I do plan on getting everyone's recipients on Dec. 1st or 2nd.

It sounds fun. I participated in the NumisForums Secret Saturnalia version, and I'll be getting a coin from work Secret Santa, so I'll be content with that.

Per the comment about international shipping, like Gildersleeve's Mr. Peavy would say, "Well now, I wouldn't say that." Although ancient items should be customs free, I know plenty of people who have gotten dinged for customs. I myself briefly had to deal with customs hell on my first order. Luckily the agent was nice and after I quoted the correct code the item was on its way the next day.

We ancient coin collectors are now stuck with the inferior (and more expensive) private shippers, like FedEx and DHL, after the de minimis went away in September.

Yes! Due to my collecting area, I ordered lots of raw material from ma-shops and luckily squeezed in one last order before the policy changed.

Two more days to sign up!!!!!!!

I'll chime in and say if using USPS everyone should ship by the 15th, so a hair under two weeks from now. We all know those delivery times are a couple days longer! If using FedEx or UPS you would probably be ok shipping that Friday before Christmas.

My package has been sent. (via USPS, not The Pony Express unfortunately...)
