Just got back my two 1979 S SBA's from ANACS, MS62 & MS64; both "struck thru grease". Any others out there?

    Pictures?
There are different levels of Struck Through Grease. Some are major and many are minor. Can we see yours?

Struck through grease is a common issue. It could be found on all coin denominations.

I'll post next week; in the mean time, is there anyone on Coin Talk who has possesion of a 1979S SBA with "grease" damage?

I don’t have a SBA greaser but I would love to see pictures of yours.

20251129_171131[1].jpg I have a 1980-S with an abraded die. The hair under the ear has just the highest points showing. The small triangular hair along the neck under the ear is completely abraded away. Stars 3 & 4 are much smaller than the other stars. And the rim border at the top of the obverse is very thin. I have it in a 2x2 so this is the best pic I have of it.
Is your coin missing design elements?
