I picked up this purdy little Lincoln at an estate sale for 15 cents! There is spectacular detail on Lincoln's hair and the rim is nice and shiny. Great buy.

It looks pretty nice. "Shiny" isn't a term that is used in numismatic circles.

I hate to break it to you, but it appears to be "nice and shiny" because it has been cleaned. It would still be worth the better part of $10 IMO.

Cleaned or not, considering you can buy nothing for 15 cents, that's not bad at all.

Nice pick up. And with no disrespect to rims' cents post, enlarged it does not seem to show any signs of cleaning. Just a well preserved coin.

1909 VDB, cleaned or not, for 15¢. Nice find.

At first I thought the price said $15 dollars, which isn't that outrageous, but then I saw the decimal!

EDIT: I examined it more thoroughly this afternoon and I noticed that there may be machine doubling on the back on STATES. Not too sure though.

    Picture kinda blurry

Beautiful coin for 15 Cents! I don't think it looks cleaned to me but I'm certainly no expert.
