I picked up this purdy little Lincoln at an estate sale for 15 cents! There is spectacular detail on Lincoln's hair and the rim is nice and shiny. Great buy.
I hate to break it to you, but it appears to be "nice and shiny" because it has been cleaned. It would still be worth the better part of $10 IMO.
Nice pick up. And with no disrespect to rims' cents post, enlarged it does not seem to show any signs of cleaning. Just a well preserved coin.
At first I thought the price said $15 dollars, which isn't that outrageous, but then I saw the decimal! EDIT: I examined it more thoroughly this afternoon and I noticed that there may be machine doubling on the back on STATES. Not too sure though. Picture kinda blurry
