The coin is hope for is a 1918/7 SLQ, one of the 2 key dates.

There are several 1852-Os being auctioned by Heritage in December. Several of the rarer S-mint coins and other rare dates are represented by multiple examples.

My white whale has become an 1839 No Drapery half dollar in F-VF. This date has haunted me for almost two decades now. I passed on them when they were $900 for an XF40. Now they're worth several thousand dollars. They just keep going up and up and up and I have been unable to find a decent one in the grade I can afford.

My current coin is just a filler, and even that coin has doubled in value in a few years.

Congrats to Catbert for landing your 1839 ND white whale seated half and the really nice 1841-O white whale.
