Surprise package from my coin dealer friend- should I open it now?

    Here is a contest where I'm giving away the gold bele I already had (the one pictured above). We'll have a random drawing after New Year's Day, 2026. The new one I just got will likely also end up in my giveaway stash for later.

    I forgot to bring the one I got yesterday, so there's no picture of it. The one above (that's in the new giveaway) is the one I already had.

    Yeah, that marker sucked. But I’m not that worried about it. My coin collection is in safe deposit and there’s nothing worth stealing in my home (don’t even own a TV anymore).

    Speaking of surprise packages, there might be another in the pipeline. I just got a Royal Mail email notification that a package has been shipped to me from the UK.

    I haven’t ordered anything from the UK recently and have no idea what that could be. I wonder if it’s even coin-related? I would imagine it is, since I haven’t had any dealings with folks in the UK that weren’t coin related.

    Should be interesting…
