So I stopped in an antique store today, One that has a lot of dealers move in and out, the lady directed me to a new sellers case. I found these two sitting in there unopened. I have never found these paper envelope style unopened before. My question to you all is. do they have a premium attached to them, because of the accented hair Kennedy, among multitudes of other variety's in the other denominations. By the way I will have to open one of them at least. My patients is slowly dwindling. IMG_3173.JPG IMG_3173.JPG

I very possibly could be wrong but I thought they were originally sent unopened and over time (or on purpose) they sealed themselves.

The ones I received in the 60's directly from the mint were always unsealed.

Thanks for not pulling my leg. I am gonna have to open them. If I do they will go under the lens unless damaged. The envelope looks pretty clean though.

However sealed for many years could help the toning process ,and the sealed set I purchased was really nice proofs. I'm sure that the envelope was made from paper that contains sulfur and by chance it may of toned the coins.
