today and bought a led desk light for a $1.59 and a little bowl for 25 cents. Here are the results. the light and a photo of a token taken using the light. The bowl and the photo taken using the bowl. Used to get image of the rim of the coin.
This looks like it will handle up to a half dollar size coin, I've been using a large flashlight reflector which works well. but for 25 cents it was worth a try, but what else do I have to do I'm retired.
The wife drags me to the thrift shops all the time.........we have fun looking for neat 'throw away' items that add to her decorating flair but I usually find nothing more than a few good books to read.
It give me something to do, I'll pick up books read them and donate them back. Same with music and movies. I find it fun to go to these places.
What a great idea!!! Great way to take out all the high relief shadows. I might have to use that. Beautiful coins, too!
hey for a $1.59 I don't give a flying...............squirrel. But I was thinking about covering it any how, how's this.
