A famous parade had it's start in 1902; Also
A famous toy was suppose to have been invented that year

 

I'll take a stab at it. Macy's parade and the Teddy Bear.

 

I think that Oklahoma became a state in 1902.

 

I thought that too, but my reference book says 1907
