Can anyone tell me what type of errors these are? (1987 P )Front looks like date a mint mark may be doubled. But on the back you cam see lots of errors but don't know what they are. Also is this dime worth anything? The 2nd dime is a (2003 P) and it looks like there is a crack or something from the back of his head to edge of dime. What is it and is it worth anything? Thanks all
The '87-P looks like it might have mint set crimping damage on the reverse but it might just be an optical effect. This damage is caused by the coin getting between the teeth of the device that seals them in mint sets. Probably no premium would be attached to the coin if this is the case but it's an extremely interesting coin. The only thing I see with the '03 is the unusual color. Larger pictures of both coins might be helpful.
