No Volusian thread here yet, so let´s start one . I haven´t found a lightly toned or unpatinated example with sufficient detail yet, so for the time being I´ll stick with this one (hmm, doesn´t even look bad on the Macro pic, so I might keep it): IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG / PAX AVGG S C Sestertius, Rome 251-252 RIC 256a, Sear 9790
Excellent portrait, although didn't have much of an idea on keeping them round at that time in Rome hiztory. Great coin congrats.

I would be happy with that temple dougsmit, the detail is about the best I have seen on an AE. Mine has nice patina but down on detail.
Both of these 2 coins have a temple on reverse. The first has Volusian alone on the obverse- BMC 665. The second has Volusian and his father Trebonianus Gallus , I think. SNG Cop 293.

Volusian? Never heard of the bum. Volusian, AD 251-253 AR Antoninianus, 22mm, 3.7g, 12h; Milan mint. Obv.: IMP C C VIB VOLVSIANVS AVG; Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev.: VIRTVS AVGG; Virtus standing right holding spear and leaning on shield. Reference: RIC IVc 206, p. 181 OK, so maybe I've heard of him, but the was still a bum, a place-holder, a ruler of no real consequence or significance.
Maybe you'll like it better after some verdi-care, JG... you definitely won't like mine. Sest., IMP CAE C VIB VOLVSIANO AVG, rev. FELICITAS PVBLICA S-C, Felicitas standing left, leaning on column, holding caduceus and sceptre:
Wow, that's a sweet sestertius, Julius-G (congrats) Yup, I have a pretty cool temple-example as well ... wanna see it? Volusian, AE Sestertius ... congrats again on that OP-winner (nice colourful eye-appeal)
