Got some rolls recently. 31 looks at a W and my usual 0-31. I pulled out a Chaco Canyon (big deal.) I had a REALLY nice Vermont state quarter but it didn't upgrade my album so it's back in circulation. And then oddly, today in my change from the Wally World self serve I got a beautiful 2009 Wash DC quarter which was slightly better and DID upgrade my album. I kept the other one also as it is AU/MS and a low mintage issue. It's strange to get an MS 16 year old coin in circulation. It had to come from someone's collection.

Ok this is ridiculous. IDK how long it has been many months, maybe a year going through rolls upon rolls and coming up empty. Changing some of my GFs change into bills and there were 2 looks, so I said maybe one of these will be a W. I have this one, but I'll take it. It looks like the last one I found was December 2024. 50 weeks.

I don't know what to say...my luck this month has been unreal. I got this 2 days ago:

It is 119 90% silver coins, mostly walkers, and 56 40% silver Kennedy halves. Just over 50 ounces. I guess I have to ask my bank for more boxes...

If my math is correct, close to 3 grand worth... crazy. Keep it going!

Two rolls of halves from a bank I don't normally go to. One cwr, all common. One bwr, all new 2024d.

Here are today's finds in my $2 in pennies. I can only get $2 at a time at the bank so I'm making the most of it.

2 2025s, a beautiful 2007, and a 2000 which is likely not broadstruck, but may be slightly as 2000 is a very common year for those.

That's nuts; I have never found a Liberty nickel roll searching! Great find!

IMG_6277.jpeg IMG_6278.jpeg Been out of the game for a while now. I found this sucker earlier this week out of a hundred bucks of dimes. 1941d. Sorry no reverse picture.

That's my 2nd one, actually! The first was maybe a year or so ago, a 1901. I posted it on here. It was in pretty rough shape, but you could see a little bit of the design.

There were a few interesting scores from my latest nickel box purchase. The noteworthy finds were a 1940-S, 1944-D, one 2009-D, one 2024-P (not pictured) and three 2024-D four (not pictured). The early decade count was two from 1939, seven from the 1940s, and nine from the 1950s. Additionally, there were two from Canada and a twenty cent piece from Singapore.

12 rolls of halves from my credit union.

Not a lick of silver in the lot. All clad. Got a few coins from the 2020s including some 2021-P with the relatively lower 5,100,000 mintage, but so what.

Oh well. Can't win 'em all, right?

And you didn't lose, either, except time - which I'm guessing needed to be occupied one way or another anyhow, right?

Yep. Just time. On a sleepy graveyard shift at work. ‘Twas something to do.

Basically done with nickels and the bank doesn't have pennies anymore, so...

    Dime box #5:

Silver: 1957-D which I needed for the album... found in the second roll I searched, right on the end! Also got a spare 1963-D.

    Other finds:
2009-P x3, 2009-D x2, and... I guess these are worth saving: 2024-D x15. Allegedly 2024 is somewhat lower mintage but if I found 15 of them, probably not THAT rare lol, but I'll save them until I have a roll's worth I suppose. Something to look for other than silver.

Dimes are tough, but still managing to keep that 2 silver per box average!

Can't think of where else to put this, so will mention this here:
Dad let me look through his change jar, and found a bicentennial quarter and a 1949-D wheat cent. Also looking through my own pennies, found a 2025... those might be worth saving lol.

Looking forward to the 2026 dime, and the Mint's not selling rolls of those, so I'll have to assemble my own (unless I'm lucky enough to just find a full roll from the bank). Hopefully will be showing up soon next year!
