Found this Morgan Dollar but it seems to be in an metal trimming around it... Is it worth me trying to get it off or should I just leave it on? Seems to be bending little already.
Looks like a broken bezel, probably from a necklace, and a polished Morgan. It would make a cool pocket peice. I'd leave it on.
Like Nate said, leave it be and put it in your pocket for a spell. In time, it will probably fall off by itself.
I'm just surprised that you didn't assume it was a rare error coin.. and asked how much it could be worth!
I'm guessing that someone already tried to remove it without success. You might be able to cut through it with a Dremel tool if you have a real steady hand. Chris
