It is not because blast white is dipped or altered. Morgans are one of the series where there are plenty of original unaltered blast white coins. The difference in price is supply and demand. While PLs/DMPLs are a small percentage of the total Morgan population, attractively toned PLs/DMPLs are an even smaller percentage. The demand for toners is strong so that limited supply tends to draw spirited bidding and high premiums.
