I was looking for an item I couldn't find in my safe or coin boxes and finaly decided/figured my cat must have knocked it behind my desk. Sure enough when i pulled out the desk, there it was sitting on top of this opened/discarded shipping envelope (I save the good/reusable ones.. Not kidding when i say im cheap lol) anyhoo... almost just chucked it but it had a bit of weight to it. Holy crap!!! I forgot I had these (almost) They were put in that envelope as some of them were to head to NGC for grading but I hadn't decided which.. I knew I had a nice 37 dime and half dime somewhere lol.
not great pics but will list em...
    1893-o barber quarter

and a big ol clunky and cleaned 1854 w/arrows half dollar

So you lost more early dimes and half dimes than I have? First world problems. :)

You’re having Christmas early this year! Glad you found them. As my mother always said, growing old is the hardest thing I’ve had to do. She was tight but so was too young to believe her. I do now. Glad you found them. :)

I hate to admit this but somewhere in the house is a holed and badly abused 1/2 disme... Though I know where it was dropped and "not found" so it's most likely resting place is under the bookshelf beside my desk and as it is bolted to the wall it may be many years before I can check under it for that piece lol

I once found a gold quarter indian in the side of my easy chair. I knew I must have let it slip down there back when I had knee surgery and was rummaging through my coins in an opiate haze.

My desk has not been moved in 30 years. I'll need a hazmat suit to figure out what may be lost back there.

When we moved into our house, I built a sort of combined bench/desk and shelves that occupy most of the bedroom I claimed as my office -- in 1996. It won't be moved until we move out, most likely.

The "hazmat" part might be uncomfortably literal, as I did do some amount of electronic work there, mostly with good old-fashioned non-lead-free solder. At least I never tried to reconstitute the chemistry set in that room.

Lol, I have similar. I find coins ALL OF THE TIME. I buy and then forget about it. I have found single coins, bags of coins, one time 9 world gold coins that to this day I have absolutely no memory of ever buying. Its really fun, its like buying them again but this time they are free!

hehe ain't got one... 2 nice indoor/outdoor chairs and a nice extremly comfy "satilight" chair (good luck getting out of it) that and my reclining/massaging computer chair are the only seating.. I don't entertain and the lawn chairs are there for the rare times the kids visit.. Personaly I want more bookshelves but the woman says we gotta keep room for the kids lol :D
