I happen to tell my moms good friend I collect coins, her husband sent me early Christmas gift

Hi everyone, I happen to text my moms good friend in Eastern Shore Maryland that I was a coin collector and had been one since I was 7 years old, but started really collecting when I got older. She told her husband, he sent me a small package in the mail in December 2024 the week before Christmas, I was curious to what the package might be, but could not open it until later because we were going out to dinner for my younger sister 37th birthday that night. My mom said you will love it, I wanted to take it with me in the car, but my mom said I would not if I was you.

So I left it home, I then said what if we get robbed and I never know what was inside. My dad said don’t worry the alarm will be on when we leave the house.

Well I get home and open the package and to my surprise there was 3 Morgan silver dollars from 1881, 1890O and 1891, 2 Peace dollars from 1922, a 2014 United States Liberty Silver Eagle, then a 2015 9999 11/4 oz silver Argent Pur Canadian Buffalo $8 coin.

Sorry no pictures of these, but my moms good friend her husband sent me another package today, but this time a Lincoln coin book with Lincoln pennies 1909-1940 no key/semi key dates. A small tin of random nickels from the 60s-2000s, and a few newer coins from Canada, and a 1957 $1 star note. I thanked him by text and said I know you have 3 grown sons, 6 grandchildren he said I know but you will appreciate it more.
