What lie, it's this easy . All the OP has to do is post the return invoice of what Pcgs said about the coin . Until that happen, nothing more then a MS. or business strike coin .

Please, prove me wrong, OP . I would like nothing more to be wrong, but again, prove it ......

Rick, I'm not sure what's up with you. I thought we were friends or at least on good terms with the past talks we've had on Ike varieties. I am just waiting to get better pics taken than the not_so_great quick cell phone pics I took when I first found it. This coin deserves it. I will reveal it in a matter of days as well as start my own thread over on CU. Just be a little patient. You guys all know me, including you rick. So why you would think that I would lie at all, let alone about something like this, is beyond me.

Haha. I am appreciative to robec and others for adding the pics so I could confirm the diagnostics I was seeing as I'm not a matte proof specific specialist.

Got to finish up getting ready to head out to Long Beach now. Come see me at table 872!

 

Is this one of the obverse markers that suppose to match, straighten out the bottom image to look the same as the top image and it's not even close .

Hopefully, their not matching RPMs like this ...

I'm sticking steadfast and not wavering in my conclusion that it's a genuine VDB matte proof.
I collect these things as my #1 interest. Regarding my low post total, I just don't post about other stuff.

Seriously man, something as random as a total number of posts on a forum do not show the measure of someone's experience.

I just hope we get the whole story when the "reveal" comes, including how it was found. That will be a fun read...for me anyway.

 

Me too, that why I keep hassling this thread . It's all in fun and the way it should be, until otherwise proven... 90 days and counting is a long wait .
