1895 Dime

    Hello

    a while since I have been able to post, certain constraints, but I have sorted them out and I can return.

    It’s the same issue, grading, something I am going to try to work on now I have the time

    A nice 1895 dime, no mint mark . But on a quick search it seems to be a date with lower mintage.

    I’m going to say Fine but appreciate any help.

    Nice! I think you are more pushing XF on that coin.

    Looks XF40 or so to me. Mottled toning but no blatant damage, does look cleaned.

    Thanks for the reply , May have been cleaned but that was how it arrived in a box of coins

    Your last pic seems to show some deep gouges above the ribbon hiding in all that toning or whatever it is, so I'm guessing XF Details.

    I'm with you on this one F. Rim dings especially on the reverse. Nice coin I like it.

    I’ve gotta go with Fine as the letters in LIBERTY aren’t clean in the photos and that’s a key grading point. 1895 is a semi-key date. Congrats on getting one.

    The toning makes it difficult to determine what the surfaces look like. Absent any damage I grade the coin full XF . . . maybe even 45.
