1802 Large Cent

    Hi- found this 1802 Large Cent buried in my collection. Is this a S-237 variety?

    Any thoughts on grade/value?

    I’m not a variety collector so I don’t know. I can tell you that yours is the 1/100 variety. That's the better one.

    Nice chocolate look. F/VF? For the 1/100th it's almost $500 in F. (USA Coin Book) IDK if it would grade VF 20 (I am around 12-15) but in VF 20 UCB has it at $850.
