Got the 1990, uncirculated, Eisenhower Centennial silver dollar today to go in the album. Still waiting for the type 1 bicentennials to arrive in the mail (debating how much longer I should wait before I should say something. I'll go about another week I think).
Progress update: the type 1 bicentennials have apparently been lost in the mail (the tracking suggests they never left the seller's post office for some reason). The seller refunded me, that's the good news. I've placed an order with another seller; hopefully they actually show up this time! Once they do I'm officially done with this series (not counting the two "extra credit" coins I also want to put in this album later).
(lack of) progress update: Went to the LCS to try to get one of the "extra credit" Eisenhowers; the 2013 5 star general silver dollar. They had one, but only in proof, not uncirculated, unfortunately, and I didn't want to put a proof in the album. Didn't want to leave empty handed, so I got a 1968 Mexican 25 peso Olympics commemorative ($25), and I went digging through their $1 box that mostly had Indian cents and buffalo nickels, and found a pretty worn 1866 copper nickel 3 cent piece that I just thought had a cool look to it (some coins just wear very well; I don't know how else to explain it but I liked the look of it). (for some reason the computer kept rotating this 90 degrees to the right automatically, despite all my attempts to just rotate them left and save them that way. No idea why or how to force it to stop doing that.)
Got paid earlier than expected for a temp job a did a while ago, so decided to treat myself with the 2013 5 star generals dollar I failed to get yesterday (had to resort to eBay; I prefer brick and mortar coin stores when possible, but sometimes they just don't have what I want). Will post pics of it with the rest of my Ike dollars when they finally show up (I don't want to have to do this multiple times lol).
