Yeah one of these are on the had to have list.
This is how coins should be graded.
Instead of not knowing what the "so called experts " are grading.
No need for stickers..... You pay a fee and you get a coin graded with an explanation of what the coin grades and why.

I paid $50 for this 7 or 8 years ago. Does that still count?

The thread said under $50, so I wasn't sure.

Well, worst comes to worst, just say you picked up a penny off the street on the way home and it netted out to $49.99. :D

The important point is, that sure don't look like no under-$50 IHC, not even a 1906. :)

I paid $28.95 for this fishy Morgan L. Marshall Civil War Token. The fishy was definitely worth it. I often wonder what qualified as "rare coin" in 1863...

I don't usually have much interest in tokens, but that bait certainly caught me! :)

A much tougher date to find with decent toning. $15.

Was out wandering with my wife, doing a bit of antique shopping and found this in a dealers display case for $25. All BU. 20170211_221951.jpg 20170211_222026.jpg 20170211_222218.jpg

Beautiful example of a trashed die. (San Francisco?) :)

Here's a '40-S I picked up a couple of years ago. An obvious different obverse die but the die crack also bisects the coin. I'm pretty sure there's another obverse die with a different crack. :)
