Through a series of attempting to get an auction house window to propagate on my work PC, which hates pop-ups, and spamming the left mouse button; I bid on the very first lot of an auction by accident. @Sallent and I have something in common. This is my second Celtic imitation, but a lot less common than the typical drachm. I can't find one that looks similar. Especially with the crude, elementary shaped Horse on the reverse. I'm keeping it. Post your Celtic imitations. -Michael
VERY cool Kugelwangel variety! I really like the "crude" horse that you have! As a Tet that is an even better capture! I have a couple Philip II of Makedon Drachmae imitations: Celtic Imitation Philip II drachm Kugelwangel type
these types of coins are collectible in the their own right. i bought this one about 12 years ago as just a barbarous celtic and have just been able to id it as a ae tet of phillip ii in the last couple of months.
