    Hello Friends, here is my First Tetradrachm of Trajan Decius

    That is a GREAT Tet @Svarog ! Just looks great! I agree with @Cucumbor , personally, I would FREE it!

    Did you notice the difference in some of the obverse legends on coins shown above. Your coin matches mine except that mine has three dots under the bust which we attribute to mean a different workshop made the coins. Q has four dots. Some coins read Decius Trajanus rather than Trajanus Decius. Some use a radiate crown.

    The obverse legend is Greek and much abbreviared:
    AVT Autokrator = Imperator
    K Kaiser = Caesar
    G Gaius
    ME Messius
    KY Quintus
    TPAIANOC Traianus
    DEKIOC Decius
    CEB Sebastos = Augustus

    Bing's coin is the same thing in Latin.

    The reverse DHMAPX E(xi) OYCIAC is the Greek translation of Latin Tribunicas Potestas or Tribune of the People title. SC = By decree of the Senate.
