I wonder what the laws are in Sweden for someone finding hidden treasure. Hopefully he'll get a substantial share. Bruce
The article says the gov't pays them for turning it in. Which is required by law. But you can bet it is a pittance compared to the vast wealth of this hoard. An unscrupulous person could piece this out on the black market in different countries and realize millions of dollars.
Thanks for sharing. Now I have some incentive to go Metal Detecting in the morning. I always wondered how honest one person would be in a case like this. I'd say, not too honest. Why is it always in another country? It's like burying an acorn and trying to find it again. You have to be a squirrel.
