Well today I go from posting my worst conditioned wheat penny to posting my best one that I found in circulation
Great looking wheat! I have a feeling, however, this thing has been polished or something. If you look at the wear on Lincoln, that's some heavy duty wear, yet the rest of the coin has that color? There's a local dealer I'll sometimes buy shotgun rolls of wheats from (when I'm in the mood), and I'm surprised at just how many 30's and 40's wheats come out looking like yours! Makes me wonder if they weren't hidden in a jar for 50+ years.
