Anybody know what happened to the site? All I get is a message, "site unavailable."

They haven't paid their bills!

 

Yeah, that's the only thing I come up with, Ed. I haven't been over there for quite a spell, but there was some stuff that I had posted there a few years ago that I wanted to check over and poof....vanished without a trace. I know @expat used to visit there. Perhaps he knows something?

I am thinking that @lordmarcovan had posted about this not long ago. Maybe he will jump aboard and fill in the blanks soon.

Looks like it was present up to end FY 2024 - then Shazam. Last screenshot 25th April 2025: NumisSociety

 

Looks like they're paid up through 2026, maybe issues with their server or host...

 

Yep, I noticed it gone about 6 months ago. I really liked the site.

 

Hmm, I just compared the Whois info with a site I moderated that rececently went dark because the owner chose not to pay for it any more. The Domain Status messages are consistent with a site that didn't pay its bills.

Too bad, I don't remember who started the site but I believe we was/is a member here.
