Would this be a Doubled Die Variety?

South Korean 100 Won, 1977


Very obvious on the legends 백 (paek, or "hundred"), and on the 한 and 행 in the name "Bank of Korea."

This couldn't just be "machine doubling" resulting from loose parts in the coining press during striking, could it?

I'm not at all familiar with the coin, but from what I see it is indeed..

Yep, that's a genuine DD. The giveaway is the notch.
