Per request @alurid As you are viewing these coins, be sure to notice how the eagles (obverse) have elements from the subject (reverse). This is what attracted me to collect this series. Can you see it?

Germany sure does love commemorative coins! My favorite and the only example I currently own is the proof version of the 1973 Copernicus issue. I also like that X-ray one! I love how they change the style of the eagle as well.
