What are you buying there for a payout? It must be those silly teenagers again or Pop's spending his "stash". LOL.
This is the best looking 2000 coin I have found from circulation. Thought I would share with you all. Probably nothing to yall but I search the 98, 99, and 00's for the wide am variety but this isn't one unfortunately.
Cash register finds: 1946, 1946-S, & 1957-D wheat cents; also a really nice 1951-S, looks nearly new!
I received these yesterday in my change. Different transactions, Different stores. Can someone tell me what the term is for whatever is going on under the words E Pluribus Unum? Looks like the letters have tails. and yes, I know, that is the roughest looking 2009 penny that exists lol.
Looks like die deterioration as it affects the outer devices. Dunkin just keeps delivering - I don’t remember but what’s the significance of the dot inside the star??
The most interesting feature of the NH state quarter is that the Old Man of the Mountain... isn't there anymore. The face collapsed in 2003 (coincidentally, on my 27th birthday. Wasn't my fault; I wasn't even in the state at the time!).
Brief history of the P mintmark: 1942-1945 on the reverse of silver war nickels 1979-1999 on Susan B. Anthony dollars 1980-present: on every coin Philadelphia mints, except for cents 2017: 1 year only on cents, to mark the 225th anniversary of the Mint
Checked my change from a Saturday trip to the grocery store. Two nice "keepers" mixed in with the batch. 1940 Wheat Cent 1953 S Washington Quarter
I haven't got a silver quarter in change since like, it had to have been almost 20 years ago. It was a 1964 quarter I got in change from Chipotle, and it is what I have in my Dansco 7070 type set for the silver Washington quarter. There has to be some silver in circulation still out there but it's insanely rare these days. (Did find a silver war nickel where I work a few months ago.) Keep your eyes open!
