My First PEI Coin/Token

    Ironically, three hours after posting, I did in fact find a PEI cent. :-D

    Nice token. Now you need to get one dated 1855 to complete the series.

    Nice token kiwi. Heres a question though. What exactly was the purpose or use for these tokens?

    At the time this was minted PEI didnt have any coins of their own so merchants made tokens to use as coins. At least thats what I think they are for :eek:

    Very nice find you have there. I got this one a short time ago, and it too is my first and only (so far).
